  • You get 7 Jeweller's Orbs by selling an item with six sockets to an NPC.
  • It is also okay to buy Jeweller's Orbs from NPC-s for 2 Orb of AlterationOrbs of Alteration each if needed, but this is not the most optimal compared to the usual market rate.
  • Jeweller's orbs are not too valuable, but I prefer to keep them until I get to the endgame, when they get a lot more useful.
  • Each percent of quality on the item improves the chance of getting more sockets by 1%. So always use your Armourer's ScrapArmourer's Scraps and Blacksmith's WhetstoneBlacksmith's Whetstones before trying to get 5 or 6 sockets.
  • Getting 5 sockets takes 70 Jeweller's orbs on average, and getting 6 sockets takes 350 of them on average.
