  • You can buy an Orb of Fusing for 4 Jeweller's OrbJeweller's Orbs from an NPC. This is usually the same as the market rate for jewellers and fusings, so a fine trade with the NPC, unlike some other currency conversions that they offer.
  • Orbs of fusing are expensive and most useful when you get high end gear. I try not to use them while leveling, they get a lot better later, and you will need a lot of them.
  • Each percent of quality on the item improves the chance of getting more links by 1%. So always use your Armourer's ScrapArmourer's Scraps and Blacksmith's WhetstoneBlacksmith's Whetstones before trying to get 5 or 6 links.
  • Getting 5 links takes 150 Orbs of Fusing on average, and getting 6 links takes 1500 of them on average. This number is reduced by 1% for each percent of quality the item has.
